- Won the Grand Gold Medal in 2007 in the prestigious Monde Selection award. This is the highest distinction awarded by Monde Selection. In 1981, 1989 and 2003 Phoenix Beer also won the Gold Medal. Around 175 entries worldwide are registered for this competition where beers are judged according to specific criteria: chemical and physical analysis and organoleptic quality.
- Attributed the Gold medal in 1983, during the Brewex contest in the UK.
